Wilton Substance Abuse Counselor Passed Away Unexpectedly

A beloved Westport educator and Wilton substance abuse counselor passed away unexpectedly on Sunday.

A beloved Staples High School youth outreach counselor passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Westport Now reports.

Christopher Lemone, 49, of Bethel, died of a heart attack.

Staples Principal Mark Karagus emailed the Staples community to alert them of the sad news. Lemone taught at the school for more than 17 years, Westport Now reported.

Lemone was an adviser to the Staples Teen Awareness Group (TAG), and was also the owner and licensed professional counselor at Lemone Consulting, LLC, and partner and counselor in Substance Abuse Assessment Associates, in Wilton, according to his LinkedIn profile.
