Wilton Teen Arrested on Sex Assault Charges: Police

WILTON, CT -- Police charged a teenager with the sexual assault of a minor earlier this year.

On Monday, Gaston Acosta-Rua, 18, of 48 Briardale Place in Wilton, surrendered to Wilton police on an arrest warrant issued by the Stamford Superior Court for two felony counts of sexual assault. The arrest stemmed from an investigation of a sexual assault on a minor earlier in the year, police said.

Acosta-Rua was charged with 2 counts of felony second-degree sexual assault and reckless endangerment. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on August 10, and was processed and released on a $50,000 bond.
