WILTON, CT — A Wilton High School student was injured Friday and has been hospitalized, the superintendent of schools wrote in a message to the school community Friday night.
"I am deeply saddened to share with you that earlier this evening we learned that one of our Wilton High School students was gravely injured and is currently hospitalized. We are unable to share additional details at this time but believe that many of our high school students and families may already be aware of the event and are naturally extremely upset," Superintendent of Schools Kevin Smith wrote.
Smith said that the schools administration is "mobilizing to support all those in our school community who may be impacted by this event."
