Suspense, intrigue, murder, and a touch of dark humor have come to the Westport Community Theatre stage with "Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play," now playing through October 4 at Westport Town Hall. Adapted for the stage by Fairfield playwright Joe Landry, Vintage Hitchcock transforms three early Alfred Hitchcock thrillers – The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps – into a 1940s-style radio broadcast performed before a live audience. A mysterious killer stalks the streets of London. A devastating explosion sets a deadly plot in motion. And an innocent man finds himself pursued across Britain in a breathless chase. Rather than attempting to recreate Hitchcock’s films onstage, Vintage Hitchcock uses the imaginative possibilities of radio theatre to tell the stories in an entirely different way – through voices, music, sound effects, and the audience’s own imagination. The seven-member cast moves among multiple roles, voices, and characters as the three stories unfold, creating the world of Hitchcock with microphones, scripts, music, and an elaborate soundscape. Directed by Richard Mancini and stage managed by Patricia A. Berg, the production features Joan Barere, John Bachelder, Roger Dykeman, Linda Gilmore, Ann Kinner, Sam Mink, and Tom Rushen. The production also features an original musical score by composer and writer Paul Richard Keegan. REDDING CENTER, CT — A Redding tradition returns this fall as the First Church of Christ, Congregational welcomes the community to its 44th Annual Artisan Fair on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For more than four decades, the Artisan Fair has brought together neighbors, families, and visitors from across Fairfield County for a day filled with handcrafted artwork, delicious homemade food, live entertainment, shopping, children’s activities, and one of the area’s largest community tag sales. Best of all, admission is free.
<h3>Discover One-of-a-Kind Artisan Creations</h3>
Nearly 50 local and regional artisans will transform the church grounds into an outdoor marketplace featuring handcrafted jewelry, pottery, woodworking, fiber arts, photography, paintings, home décor, gourmet specialties, and much more.
“In addition to welcoming many of our favorite returning artisans, we’re excited to introduce several talented new exhibitors this year,” said Kara Morgan, Artisan Fair Coordinator. “Whether you’re beginning your holiday shopping or simply looking for something unique, you’ll find beautiful handcrafted pieces created by incredibly talented artists.”

Just across the campus, the historic Studio—an 18th-century carriage workshop—will once again host the Barn Sale, showcasing antiques, artwork, collectibles, and distinctive home furnishings.

Guests can also purchase seasonal mums, pumpkins, gourds, and cornstalks while enjoying live entertainment on the church grounds.

The Keelers are a music duo from Redding, CT who entangle harmonies, old and new songs, and community connection.
Enchanted Garden Dancers (12:00 PM -12:45 PM)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Returning by popular demand, the Enchanted Garden Dancers will once again delight our audience with energetic performances showcasing a variety of dance styles that captivated Fairgoers last year.

Snakeskin Boots Band (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.) 
Snakeskin Boots Band is an American Country Rock Band from Fairfield County Connecticut, with a mix of original songs and covers. Their voices and musical songwriting style bring a unique sound. Kurt's rich, deep rocking quality, and Helen's warm soulful touches fill a distinctive sound into our music. Performances are filled with energy and passion, showcasing chemistry on stage.

Terri Dennehy</a> and our UU Westport community this Sunday at 10 AM, where our service will be "Con-spiring for Justice."&nbsp;&nbsp;Children's programming and nursery care is available.&nbsp; +++ All are always welcome to our Unitarian Universalist services at UU Westport, offered each Sunday at 10 AM, both in person and <a href="https://uuwestport.org/livestream/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">live-streamed online</a>. Services usually include a time of reflection/prayer/meditation; wonderful music; readings; and a homily or sermon to lend insight into our world and how we interact with it and with each other.

Immerse yourself in William Shakespeare’s timeless tales on a scenic stroll through Bristow Bird Sanctuary. Professional actors and musicians bring to life beloved scenes and songs inspired by Shakespeare’s greatest works. Visitors may encounter the romance of Romeo &amp; Juliet, the whimsy of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the magic of The Tempest, and the dark intrigue of Macbeth—complete with witches and sword fights—along with sonnets, madrigals, and more. Join us on a journey through nature and story.
Performance Details: This is an outdoor promenade-style experience where audience members are led down a walking path and encounter various Shakespearean vignettes. The total distance is less than a mile on a smooth gravel path with light gradation. The full experience is ADA accessible.
Groups of 15–20 will depart every 15 minutes from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM for a 45-50 minute traveling experience. Tickets Limited!
