Wilton Vendor Sells $1 Million Powerball Winning Ticket
One lucky ticket matched the first 5 numbers for the $1,000,000 prize.
WILTON, CT --- While there was no jackpot winner in the Wednesday, May 2, 2018 Powerball® drawing, one lucky ticket purchased at Georgetown Shell at 912 Danbury Road in Wilton matched the first 5 numbers drawn for the $1,000,000 prize!
The winning numbers for May 2 were: 5 – 14 – 31 – 40 – 50. The Powerball number was 6, and the Power Play multiplier number was 2. In total, 11,107 winning Powerball tickets were sold statewide for that date, with prizes ranging from $4 to $1,000,000.
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, May 5 is an estimated $215 million with a cash value of $127.7 million. The overall odds of winning a Powerball prize are 1 in 24.9. Odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338 million.
