Wilton vs. Ridgefield FCIAC Boys Basketball Championship Game Moved to Larger Venue

The rivalry showdown has been moved to a different venue, in order to facilitate the crowd expected for the game.

FAIRFIELD, CT — With both school's first league title in FCIAC history on the line, the boys basketball title game between Ridgefield and Wilton has been moved to a new location, reports the Ridgefield Press.

The game has been moved from the Fairfield Warde gymnasium, which holds 1,700 seats, to the Fairfield University Alumni Hall. The Alumni Hall holds 2,800 spectators.

The game starts at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Officials had tried to move the game to Western Connecticut State University, which is closer to the two schools. You can also catch the game on-demand on the HAN Network.
