Wilton Warriors Beat Branford Hornets 34-7

The Wilton High School Boys Varsity Football team beat the Branford Hornets by 34-7 Friday, Sept. 26 in an exciting game.

The Warriors led 7-0 in the first quarter and gained even more traction in the second with two touchdowns leading the first half of the game 20-0.

The Hornets fought back in the third quarter with another touchdown but could not keep up with the Warriors who led at the end of the third with a score of 34-7. The final score of the game was Wilton 37, Branford, 7. This is the team’s second win of the season.

The Wilton Warriors play Bridgeport’s Bassick Lions on Thursday at 6 p.m.
