Wilton Wins FCIAC Gymnastics Title
Junior Chelsea LeVander finishes first in all four events to lead the Warriors to their first FCIAC crown since 1997
Wilton edged out Darien on Saturday night in Stamford to capture its first FCIAC gymnastics title in more than a decade.
Warriors junior Chelsea LeVander won all four events - vault (9.3), bars (9.3), beam (9.0) and floor exercise (9.3) - to post an all-around score of 36.9.
Levander helped Wilton claim its first overall title since 1997. The Warriors finished with 133.750 points, beating the Blue Wave (132.800) by less than a point.

Completing the top seven were Staples (121), Fairfield Ludlowe (119.850), Fairfield Warde (118.400), Trumbull (116.550) and Greenwich (108.950).
Levander's main competition Saturday was Darien's senior Morgan Whitehead, who finished second in in vault (9.25), beam (8.85), floor exercise (9.25) and all-around (35.3).

Darien's Katherine Mosher took second on the bars (8.55) and third in the all-around (33.25).
