Wilton's Business Person of the Year: Judy White

From Stephanie Barksdale, Director of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce:

Our business person of the year began as an anesthetist.  Next, while living in the Bahamas, she operated a charter air service, piloting her own twin-engine Cessna. She moved to Wilton in the 1970s, and in 1978, she established her business.  Her active involvement in the Wilton Center Association led her to the steering committee of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, and ultimately she became the chamber’s very first president, 20 years ago. She has been a member of the Wilton Family Y for 33 years. She was the first woman, and is past president and a Paul Harris recipient of the Wilton Rotary Club.  She has traveled all seven continents and to over 150 countries, and we are proud to call her “Wilton’s Own.”

It is my great honor and pleasure to present this year’s Business Person of the Year to Judy White.
