Wilton's Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Chance of Showers, Thunderstorms

We could wish that today’s forecast is what we’d end up with for Saturday.

Before we get to the weekend though, we’re looking at a picture perfect weather day on Thursday with sunny skies and temps in the high 60s to 70 degrees.

Friday is even slightly better with sunny skies and temps around 70 degrees.

Saturday is definitely the worse of the two days as showers and thunderstorms are possible early in the morning, and then it will be mostly cloudy for the remainder of the day.

But the sun reappears on Sunday, and a gorgeous weather day is forecast with high temperatures approaching the mid 70s.

Here is Wilton’s latest hyperlocal forecast from the National Weather Service:

• This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 7 to 9 mph.
• Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 45. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
• Friday Night: A slight chance of showers between midnight and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
