Fourth in a series of events to build the first hospice house in the State of Connecticut planned for Wednesday, September 30

Fund raising wine dinner hosted by Paci Restaurant in Southport on Wednesday, September 30th at 6:30pm. Limited seats available.

Anyone who has ever been touched by Hospice knows that it can be supportive and even transformative at a very difficult time.

While New York and Massachusetts offer hospice care in a residential, home-like environment, Connecticut does not.

The Fairfield County Hospice House (FCHH) will be the first non-institutional hospice residence in our state. Once built, it will be located in North Stamford. It will be a six bedroom home, with single occupancy rooms, baths, and outdoor spaces overlooking beautiful landscaping. Our “home away from home” will provide a comfortable living room, fireplace and kitchen, for the use by family and friends.

FCHH will help fill a void, by providing a true home like setting for those in need. Providing an opportunity for reflection surrounded by loved ones, as well as licensed and experienced caregivers, a place of calm and palliative care to ease the transition from life to death with dignity and respect.

You can help us to realize this goal by attending our forth in a series of events planned to build awareness and to help build the first hospice house in Connecticut.
