Woman Charged With Stealing, Forging $3k Check 20 Years Ago: Wilton Police
Police have held an active warrant for the woman's arrest since 1997.

WILTON, CT — A woman accused of stealing and forging a $3,000 check in 1996 was arrested earlier this month in Norwalk more than 20 years later.
Police say that Beatris (Deyepes) Agudelo, 41, of Norwalk was arrested on an warrant which had been active since 1997. Police accused Agudelo of stealing and forging a $3,000 check at People's Bank located on Rte. 7 on Dec. 13, 1996.
Agudelo was located and arrested in Norwalk on March 3. She is charged with larceny in the third degree and forgery in the third degree.

She was held on $2,500 bond and is due to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 20.
