• Jane Danforth Fisher Thurber (gazettenet.com) — Longtime Windsor resident and music educator Jane Danforth Fisher Thurber will be remembered at a musical celebration of her life at Loomis Chaffee School Chapel in Windsor on Friday, June 26, 2026. Thurber spent decades teaching in Bloomfield while living and raising her family on the Loomis Chaffee campus and later in a Windsor home, deeply shaping local choral and school music communities.
