• Final Connecticut Blimpie Location Closes In Windsor (patch.com) — Windsor residents are losing a familiar lunch spot as Connecticut's last Blimpie, co-branded with Surf City Squeeze on Day Hill Road, has permanently closed. The closure ends both chains' presence in the state, with equipment now being sold through an online liquidation auction while corporate websites still list the location as temporarily closed.
