• Windsor Schools Make CT's Top 50 In New Ranking (patch.com) — Families in Windsor can take pride as the local school district lands 48th in Connecticut in Niche's new 2027 rankings, earning a B-plus overall. The district stands out even more in athletics, placing eighth statewide, and is also highly rated for diversity and within the Hartford-area school systems.
   

• Windsor Business Sheds Light On $13M Deal (patch.com) — A long-term manufacturer at 600 Day Hill Road in Windsor will remain in place through 2034 after new investors bought the nearly 30-acre industrial site for $13 million. The fully leased facility, home to Howden's Spencer division since the 1970s, gives the buyers stable income and room for possible future development on excess land at Day Hill and Marshall Phelps roads.
