Bates College, Lewiston ME
- Nolwenn Robison of Windsor was named to the dean's list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2016. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.71 or higher. Robison, the daughter of Mr. and Ms. Curtis M. Robison of Windsor, is a 2016 graduate of Loomis Chaffee School.

- The Eastern Connecticut State University men's basketball team concluded its 2016-17 season this March with a stellar 21-9 record, becoming champions of the Little East Conference (LEC). Among the team's student-athletes was Tyrell Arnum of Windsor, who played guard. Arnum majors in Communication. He averaged 8.6 points per game, 4 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game.
- A group of students from Eastern Connecticut State University recently participated in a global field course (GFC) to conduct research in the Mojave and Great Basin Deserts. The students were accompanied by Assistant Biology Professors W. Brett Mattingly and Matthew Graham. Taylor Brown of Windsor was one of the students who attended. Brown's major is Biology.
Emerson College, Boston MA
- Benjamin Mueller of Windsor has been named to the Emerson College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Mueller is majoring in Media Arts Production. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

- Lasell College is pleased to announce that Brianna Tata of Windsor has been selected to serve as an Orientation Leader this upcoming summer. In their role, Brianna will serve as a group leader, contact for various departments, registration assistant, peer educator and a positive role models. Orientation Leaders participate in an extensive training program throughout the spring semester, which continues the week prior to the summer and fall Orientation program start dates. They are trained in and expected to be knowledgeable about institutional information, group dynamics and student development issues.
