Canoe Race Results for the Windsor Woman's Club

Rain was not a factor!

Among the activities occurring on the Town Green this past wet weekend was the annual canoe race to benefit the Windsor Food and Fuel banks, sponsored by The Kiwanis Club of Windsor. Town of Windsor employees were the overall winners. The Windsor Woman’s Club won for most food collected (1,088 pounds) and for best dressed canoe.

The race raised over 8,551 pounds of food and over $3,000 in cash donations. Participating in this year’s race were the Town of Windsor, Kiwanis Club of Windsor, Windsor Woman’s Club, Boy/Cub Scout Troop 149, and Boy Scout troop 151.
