The girl began screaming and was able to gain attention of a bystander who approached the restrooms and saw the incident occurring. The man then fled the area, according to the report.
“Both the victim and bystander provided a detailed description of the suspect which allowed mall security to locate him in the parking lot,” Roy stated. “Security relayed the information to police officers who were in the area and responded.”
Officers spoke to Mighty and alleged that he was the person who assaulted and attempted to kidnap the girl. He was arrested and held. Mighty is expected to be arraigned this morning.
Police filed for a search warrant and allegedly found two loaded firearms in his car along with “a large quantity of marijuana that was pre-packaged for distribution.”
