Twentieth Century Energy - Combustion Engineering’s Role in the Development of New Energy Sources

In conjunction with Windsor Historical Society’s Combustion Engineering:  A Windsor Landmark exhibition, industrial archaeologist and chemist Bob Stewart will present a history of Combustion Engineering and how this Windsor company advanced the development and use of energy sources over the years. 

Starting with the production of wood and coal-fired power systems, Combustion Engineering participated in oil and gas exploration and refining, and the development of petrochemicals, and nuclear energy.

This lecture will lend perspective on Combustion Engineering’s  contributions to the nation’s increasing need for fuel.
