Open House at Many Rivers
Celebrate Many Rivers Community Acupuncture's new location at 775 Bloomfield Avenue Friday May 1 from 4 pm - 7 pm
Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is pleased to host an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Friday, May 1 from 4 pm – 7 pm to celebrate the opening of their new Windsor location at 775 Bloomfield Avenue.
Many Rivers invites the public to tour their new clinic, meet the acupuncturists, and enter to win raffle items including free acupuncture gift certificates, t-shirts, goodie bags and other prizes at their Open House. Delicious and healthy hors d’oeuvres will be served, including vegan and gluten-free options from Get Baked and The Sweet Beet.
“We’ve given 25,000 treatments since we first opened our doors four years ago,” said Many Rivers founder Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. “I have been thrilled with the amazing growth of our community clinic. Our new, larger location gives us the ability to provide even more appointment times and increased capacity.”

Acupuncturist Carrie Sawtell opened Many Rivers in May 2011. Her goal was to create an acupuncture clinic that was affordable, so that people in pain could get the relief they needed without breaking the bank. Word-of-mouth quickly spread about her comfortable and effective treatments, and within a year she had asked acupuncturist Heather Finn, L.Ac. to join the practice.
Patients began asking for weekend hours, so the clinic expanded again when Mary Cole, L.Ac. joined the growing clinic last year. Many Rivers is now the largest community acupuncture clinic in the state of Connecticut.

“The keys to community acupuncture are affordability and accessibility,” said Sawtell. “If someone wakes up with a migraine, throws their back out in the garden, or has a stressful day at work, we want to help. Our new clinic gives us the ability to do just that - not only is it bigger and has more treatment space, it’s closer to the highway and has a large parking lot for easy in-and-out access.”
Many Rivers will begin providing treatments at its new location at 775 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor, CT on Monday, April 27. Acupuncture is available on a sliding scale of $15 - $35 per treatment (plus a one-time $10 fee for new patients). Appointments can be booked online at www.manyriversacupuncture.com or by calling (860) 683-0011.
