Three Sage Park Middle School Students Place Top Three in the State in Scenario Writing/Art Competition
2017 Future Problem Solving Program of Connecticut Recognizes Windsor Students
Windsor Public Schools is pleased to announce that three Sage Park Middle School students have placed in the top three in the state in the Middle Division of the 2017 Future Problem Solving Program of Connecticut (FPSPCT) Scenario Writing/Art Competition.
Isabelle Koistinen, Charlotte Watts, and Ariana Waterhouse will be recognized at the 2017 FPSPCT State Conference Award Ceremony on April 1st at 6:30 p.m. in North Haven, CT where the top three winners will be announced in each category. Students are coached and advised by Sage Park Middle School Language Arts Challenge Resource Teacher, Shirley Cowles.
Ariana's scenario has been submitted to the International Scenario Writing competition representing Connecticut with results to be announced late April. Currently the art component is recognized only at the State level. However, the FPSPCT is working towards making this an International Component.

The Future Problem Solving Program of Connecticut, Inc. (FPSPofCT) is a not for profit 501 (c) 3 education organization governed by a board of directors consisting of teachers, parents and past FPSers. During the school year students learn how to solve challenges and work together as a team. FPSPofCT offers seminars on the important topics studied by the students and problem solving. At the end of the year the top problem solvers in Connecticut compete at the State Conference for the opportunity to represent Connecticut at the International Future Problem Solving Conference.
