Tom Pompa Named Mr. Windsor Kiwanis

Tom Pompa was named Mr. Windsor Kiwanis in a proclamation issued by Windsor Mayor Don Trinks. The following is the text of the proclamation:

WHEREAS, The Kiwanis Club of Windsor was founded on April 28, 1966 and been dedicated to contributing to the betterment of the community in countless ways; and,

WHEREAS, Long-time member Thomas Pompa has played an integral role in the development and growth of the club and its many programs including: the Shad Derby Road Race, blood drives, backpack programs, holiday programs for nursing home residents, scholarships for graduating senior; and,

WHEREAS, Thomas Pompa has also played a key role in the development of many of the youth service leadership clubs sponsored by the Kiwanis including the Builder’s Club at Sage Park School, the Key Club and Key Leader Clubs at Windsor High and K-Kids at Clover Street and John F. Kennedy Schools; and,

WHEREAS, The Town of Windsor recognizes Thomas Pompa for his long time service as Secretary to the Kiwanis Club of Windsor and his continuous devotion to Windsor service programs.
