Windsor Food & Fuel Bank Presents 2021 Volunteer Support Awards
On November 16, 2021, the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank (WF&FB) presented eight "2021 Volunteer and Support Awards."
On November 16, 2021, the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank (WF&FB) presented its “2021 Volunteer and Support Awards” to eight (8) remarkable individuals, organizations and businesses for their extraordinary support and involvement in the organization’s programs and services over the past year.
The Windsor Food & Fuel Bank’s Board of Directors and staff thanked the honorees for their help, especially during the challenges of the past year. Windsor Mayor Don Trinks provided opening comments, as did Jane Garibay, Immediate Past President of the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank and one of Windsor’s Connecticut State Representatives who presented each awardee with a certificate from the Connecticut General Assembly.

- The Windsor Lions Club;
- Geissler’s Supermarket in Windsor;
- The Hartford’s Community & Giving Team for the Windsor location;
- Volunteer Bruce Buchan;
- Volunteer Art Hamel;
- Volunteer Dave Jalbert; and
- Volunteer Carmen Rincon.
The Windsor Food & Fuel Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1967 as the Windsor Community Service Council (WCSC). The all-volunteer Board along with our partners at Windsor Social Services, works to accomplish our Mission of ensuring that no Windsor resident goes hungry, is cold, or is without basic necessities.
