Windsor Lions Club Donates Food/Funds to Windsor Food & Fuel Bank
Collected at Lions' Recent Drive-Thru Non-Contact Food Drive

Leadership of the Windsor Lions Club recently presented the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank with a check for $904.64, the total of funds collected by the Windsor Lions during their recent second annual Drive-Thru Non-Contact Food Drive! These welcome dollars were in addition to the 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food and toiletries donated by Windsor-area residents at the same August event. The summer collection drive was held in the parking lot of L.P. Wilson Community Center at 599 Matianuck Ave. in Windsor, where the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank is located.
“Our organization is very fortunate to have the Windsor Lion Club members and their Windsor Leos as strong community partners,” says explains Ernest T. Perreault, President of the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank. “We thank them and are extremely grateful to all the generous people who came and donated to help their Windsor neighbors.”
