Windsor Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Hartford Shooting
One man was killed and three others including the accused were injured.

A Windsor man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Hartford elementary school, NBC Connecticut reports.
According to NBC, Roosevelt “Roe” Holmes, 23 was arrested Sunday.
The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon during a basketball tournament outside a Hartford elementary school, NBC reports. A 41-year-old Hartford man was fatally shot in the head and three others were injured, including Holmes.

Holmes reportedly got into an argument during the basketball game but it didn’t appear to be with any of the people involved in the shooting, according to NBC. Police are looking into whether there was a second shooter.
Holmes was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal attempt at first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
