Windsor Man Sentenced In Sex Assault Case

WINDSOR, CT - A 31-year-old man who was in the US illegally was sentenced to three years in prison based on charges that he had sex with a girl when she was 13 and 14 years old, The Hartford Courant reported. Oneil Stevens, 31, pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree sexual assault in February.

In addition to the sentence, the Courant reported he will serve three years of special parole.

Stevens, who is from Jamaica, will be deported following his prison sentence. The case revolved around allegations that Stevens had sexual intercourse with the teen at her Manchester home.
