Windsor Obituary: Aldona Mazel, 96

Condolences to her family and friends.

Aldona R. (Kuchas) Mazel, 96, of Poquonock, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Mazel, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Vincenta (Adient) Kuchas.

Aldona was a longtime resident of Poquonock and a member of St. Joseph Church.

A loving mother, she leaves her two daughters, Cynthia Diana and her husband Ronald St. Laurent; Joan Donegan and her husband William; three grandsons, Robert Donegan and his husband Daniel Morrissey, whom she lived with and took loving care over her, Michael Donegan and his wife Mimi and Jason Donegan. She also leaves her great granddaughters, who gave great joy to Joseph and Aldona, Grace and Faith Donegan, her sister, Irene Baltronis and her brother, Vincent Kuchas. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brother, Anicetas Kuchas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 23, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., the Poquonock section of Windsor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, also in the Poquonock section of Windsor.
