Austin David Nagy, 33, of Windsor, beloved husband of Amanda (Garthwaite) Nagy and loving father of Roland Joseph Nagy, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Born in Hartford on July 28, 1983, son of David Nagy and Linda Benoit, he was raised in Windsor and was a graduate of Windsor High School, Class of 2001, where he played on the school's lacrosse team. After high school, Austin continued his education at Baran Institute of Technology and graduated in 2005 with a focus in commercial refrigeration.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being in the great outdoors. Whether it was boating in Maine, hiking Mount Katahdin, skeet shooting, or taking his snowmobile on trips to Vermont, he loved nature and sharing these experiences with his family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, playing with his son, listening to the blues, talking on the phone to those closest to him and sitting on his snowmobile and staring at the starry sky on a clear winter's night.
