
David M. Edwards, 62, of Windsor, beloved husband of Donnette Williams, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home.
Born in New London to the late Leonard and Lillian (Bates) Edwards, he lived most of his life in Hartford and has been a resident of Windsor for the past year. David was a member of the Holy Trinity Church/Latter Rain Fellowship in Hartford and enjoyed billiards, bowling and playing cards, but his true passion was his family who will miss him dearly.
Besides his wife Donnette of Windsor, he is survived by his son David Joaquin Williams and his wife Alecia of Hartford; his daughters Felicia S. Williams of Ft. Myers, FL and Shayla B. Williams of Windsor; his brothers Charles, Zachary and Ruben Edwards; his grandchildren Robert, Devonte, Christian, Devin, Taylor, David and Keanu; his great-grandchildren Briley and Robert Jr.; and his extended family the Easterlings, the Boyds, the Harrisons and the Barlows.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 22 at The Lodge, 130 Deerfield Ave Windsor followed by burial with military honors in CT State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 10 AM to 11 AM.
