
John Rogovich Jr., 93, of Windsor, beloved husband of Anna (Marov) Rogovich, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
Born in Nerezine, Italy to the late John Sr. and Maria (Zorovich) Rogovich, he moved to New York City in 1950 where he met his wife. John and Anna lived in Queens where they raised their sons. John retired from the NYC Board of Education and was able to travel extensively during his retirement.
John and Anna moved to Windsor over 9 years ago to be closer to their grandchildren. John was a member of St. Gabriel Church in Windsor. Although he moved to Connecticut, he continued to be a fan of his favorite NY Mets and NY Rangers teams. However, his true passion was his family who will miss him dearly.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Steven and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach, VA and Blaise and his wife Christine of Somers; his grandchildren Dominic, Emile and Elena; and his sister Maria Linardich of San Marco Island, FL.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kimberly Hall who provided wonderful care.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 27 at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St. Windsor. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
