Windsor Obituary: Michael Brundage, 55

Condolences to his family and friends.

Michael Bradley Brundage, 55, of Windsor Locks passed away on April 12, 2016, surrounded by family and friends.

Born on December 14, 1960, Michael was the son of Joan B. Brundage and the late Neal J. Brundage of Windsor. Michael attended Windsor High School and received a Bachelor or Arts from Charter Oak University. His great love of music, literature, art and film filled his life with a spirit of adventure. Michael travelled extensively with his son, instilling in Nicholas a sense of exploration.

A storyteller who captivated his audience, Michael was an avid reader and author who penned many beautiful short stories and novels; it was his dream to have his writing published. Michael was a kind, compassionate man, selfless in his generosity of spirit, time, and friendship. A dynamic and engaging person, Michael was also sensitive to others, and offered family and friends a compassionate shoulder when needed.

He leaves his son, Nicholas Brundage of Windsor Locks and his girlfriend Kat Walker; his mother Joan B. Brundage of Windsor; loving partner of six years, Kathleen Adams of Windsor; two sisters, Kate DeNino of Wethersfield and Meg Brundage and her husband Frank Badstuebner of Glastonbury; two brothers, Alex Brundage of Windsor Locks and Patrick Brundage and his wife Tracy of Seattle, WA; four adored nieces, Vanessa, Anya, Reilly and Kate. Michael also leaves extended relatives, and countless friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his father and best friend, Neal J. Brundage, and dear friend Lisa Chiarizio.

Michael's generosity and life continue through organ donation. Please join his family in praying for the recipients and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave. in Windsor.
