
Michael A. Pietraroia, Sr., 82, of Windsor, beloved husband of Beverly (Brooks) Pietraroia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his home.
Born in Hartford to the late John Pietraroia and Maria (Orsini, Pietraroia) Zebedeo, he has been a Windsor resident all of his life and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Windsor and served with the Windsor Volunteer Fire Dept. Michael was a member of the American Truck Historical Society Nutmeg Chapter and the New England Rockbuster Chapter and had a passion for antique trucks, construction vehicles, and car racing. He was a talented illustrator and drew numerous pictures of historic trucks, fire engines and construction equipment. But his main focus was his family who will miss him dearly.
Besides his wife Beverly of Windsor, he is survived by his son Michael Pietraroia, Jr. of Windsor; his daughters Ann Palacko and her husband Gerry of Travelers Rest, SC and Patricia Hart and her husband John, Jr. of Enfield; his brother Anthony Pietraroia and his wife Caroline of Windsor; his grandchildren Michael III and his wife Kelly, Kristen, Jacob and Benjamin; and his great-grandson Jackson. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son John Pietraroia and his sister Angeline Pietraroia.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 11 at Trinity Methodist Church, 180 Park Ave Windsor followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windsor. His family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor.
