Patricia Arlene Shepard, of Hartford, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by her family.
Daughter of the late Clifford Shepard and Ophelia (Ferguson) Shepard Moses, Patricia was born in Hartford on June 24, 1955 and graduated from Windsor High School. Patricia was raised in Welcome Baptist Church where she spent her time as a Junior usher and a member of the Jones Youth Choir. She worked as a lunch and bus monitor for the Hartford Public Schools for some years before retirement.
Pat enjoyed working crossword puzzles, collecting Beanie Babies and dolls, helping her friends and neighbors, and spending time with her family. She was an outgoing and social lady who had a firm belief in God and a generous and caring heart. She would feed her neighbors without food, and allow the homeless warmth from the cold temperatures in the winter.
