Windsor Obituary: Stanislaw Snarski, 59

Condolences to his family and friends.

Stanislaw L. “Stanley” Snarski, 59, of Enfield, formerly of Manchester, and loving husband of Janet (Abohatab) Snarski, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.

Stanley was born November 5, 1956, in Kalinowka, Koscielna Poland and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1962 at the age of five. Stanley was the son of the late Ludwik and Leocadia (Klim) Snarski. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1976 and shortly after moved to Alaska where he worked on the oil rigs for several years. He was later employed as Production Foreman with TLD Ace Corp in Windsor for 22 years.

Stanley was very proud of his Polish Heritage and enjoyed cooking for family and friends and tending to his yard. He was an avid fisherman, especially when visiting Alaska where it was often the first thing he would do. He played in several softball leagues in the area and loved his trips to the casinos. Stanley will be remembered for his wonderful smile, infectious laugh and his uncanny ability to make friends everywhere he went.
