Change Announced For Windsor Event
Participants are being urged to note the updated location ahead of Friday's games and activities.
WINDSOR, CT — Windsor officials are stressing an important last-minute change ahead of this week’s Senior Olympics: the event will now take place entirely at the Windsor Senior Center, not its originally planned site.
The Windsor Senior Center’s Senior Olympics will be held Friday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, also known as the Windsor Senior Center, located at 599 Matianuck Ave. in Windsor. Organizers say the location has been officially updated and all participants should report directly to the senior center.
The indoor event, inspired by the Winter Games, is open to both Windsor residents and non-residents and is designed as a full day of friendly competition, laughter, and prizes. Officials emphasized that no activities will take place elsewhere and that the senior center is the sole location for the event.
