Windsor Students Receive CABE Student Leadership Awards

High School and Middle School Students Recognized by the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education

Mackenzie Harrison, Khaleel Rahman (Windsor High School), Sage Hanlon, and Devin Keaton (Sage Park Middle School) in Windsor Public Schools were recently recognized by the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) with Student Leadership Awards.

Students are nominated to receive this award by their school principal. Students nominated should exhibit the following leadership skills:

  • Willingness to take on challenges
  • Capability to make difficult decisions
  • Concern for others
  • Ability to work with others
  • Willingness to commit to a project
  • Diplomacy
  • Ability to understand issues clearly
  • Ability to honor a commitment

Superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke and the Windsor Board of Education recognized these students at the May, 15, 2018 Board of Education meeting.
