WINDSOR, CT — A brief stop at a Windsor supermarket proved to be extremely fortunate for a Massachusetts man, who won a $100,000 prize in a CT Lottery game.

Kevin Landry of Chicopee won the bonanza on a Cash5 ticket, purchased at the Geissler's Supermarket on Broad Street. He claimed his winnings Monday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
