WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A woman was charged with DUI after police said her car crashed into a Main Street building early Friday morning.

Windsor Locks police said officers responded to 250 Main St., the address of Barile Realty, at about 1:04 a.m. Friday, June 26, after a 911 caller reported a car had crashed into the building.

Police said the vehicle had extensive damage, while the building had moderate damage. A building inspector responded and determined there were no structural concerns, according to police.

The fire department also responded to the scene for fluids from the vehicle, police said.

The crash happened just days after another vehicle struck Skip’s Early Bird Barber Shop at 246 Main St., a few doors away on the same stretch of Route 159.

In that crash, police said a vehicle was traveling north on Route 159 at about 8:09 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, when the driver went off the road and into the barber shop. No injuries were reported in that crash, police said.

Police said the investigation resulted in the arrest of Diana Bonilla, 33, of Pleasant Street in Enfield. She was charged with driving under the influence.

The charge is an accusation. Bonilla is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
