• Windsor Locks Main Street Project Gets Boost (patch.com) — Windsor Locks' long-awaited Main Street overhaul just secured another $1.2 million, pushing total funding to $6.5 million for traffic-calming, safer crosswalks, new lighting, and better links to the new train station and Bradley bus service. Designs are still preliminary, but residents can expect a public information meeting before construction plans are finalized.
   

• Tweed resumes normal operations following problem with runway lights (fox61.com) — Four Avelo flights were diverted to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks after runway lighting problems shut down nighttime operations at Tweed New Haven Airport. Technicians have since restored the system, and Tweed is back to normal, but Windsor Locks travelers on those diverted flights may still need to confirm updated schedules with their airline.
