Apple Watch Theft Attempt Thwarted in East Windsor
Police say a man and woman attempted to steal over $3,200 worth of Apple watches at the East Windsor Wal-Mart.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — An attempted theft of a considerable quantity of Apple watches from the Wal-Mart store on Route 5 was thwarted with the arrests of a man and woman.
Around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, a Wal-Mart employee notified an East Windsor police sergeant who was in the store that a man had forcibly broken into the Electronic Department storage cabinet behind the cashier counter and removed all of the Apple watches into a shopping cart. The male then covered the watches with clothes, police said.
The man realized he had been detected and abandoned the shopping cart while attempting to run out of the store. He was intercepted by the sergeant at the front entrance, police said.
