BROAD BROOK, CT — A CT Lottery Daily Numbers ticket purchased at a Broad Brook convenience store wound up being worth more than $20,000 to a lucky player from Vernon.

Colin McFarlane cashed in a Play4Day ticket, purchased at the Kingsway Super Store on Main Street, for $20,416. He claimed his winnings Wednesday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
