• Claire McnNally of Broad Brook was named to the Dean's List by Dr. Troy Shoemaker, president of Pensacola Christian College, for academic achievement during the 2020 spring semester. This was a result of earning a semester grade point average of 3.00 or higher.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University welcomed over 130 February graduates as alumni on February 15, 2020. Andrew Barry Baker of Broad Brook graduated with a MSE in Mechanical Engineering. Nicholas J. Desrosiers of Broad Brook graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Criminal Justice/Criminal Investigation Concentration.
