East Windsor Foster Mother Sentenced to Prison for Abusing Baby

She pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in connection with the assault of a six and a half month old child in her care.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - A Broad Brook woman who pleaded guilty to abusing her six and a half month old foster son has been sentenced to prison.

Danielle Clark, 24, was sentenced in Enfield Superior Court to five years in prison, suspended after nine months, and five years' probation, according to judicial records.

She pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree assault, stemming from an investigation into possible abuse that began in early August last year.

The baby had injuries to the front and back of his head, torso, eyes and arms, and evaluation at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford described his injuries as ”substantial but not life-threatening,” police said.
