East Windsor Gang Member Sentenced In Drug Dealing Case
The man was sentenced in federal court Thursday following an extensive investigation into a Hartford gang.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - An East Windsor gang member was sentenced to seven years in federal prison for his role in a heroin and crack distribution ring, according to a statement from the US District Attorney. Antwane Williams-Bey, 27, was sentenced in US District Court in New Haven Thursday.
The case stems from a joint federal, state and local police investigation into drug trafficking by Orange Street Killas (OSK) in Hartford's Parkville neighborhood. The investigation followed a series of reports of shots fired in the area and an October 2015 homicide.
The case was built on evidence gathered through court-authorized wiretaps, controlled purchases of narcotics and physical and video surveillance all demonstrating that OSK members were selling heroin and cocaine on the streets of Hartford.

Williams-Bey supplied heroin and crack to other gang members who later sold it. He also used the home of a family member on Sterling Street in Hartford for drug dealing purposes, according to the statement.
He was arrested Feb. 10, 2017, when police found 800 bags of heroin and $1,650 in cash at his East Windsor home.

Earlier this year he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin. He has prior convictions for firearm, drug and assault charges.
Sixteen other people have been charged and convicted as a result of the investigation.
This matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Northern Connecticut Violent Crimes Task Force and the Hartford Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian P. Leaming.
