East Windsor Store Sells Winning Lottery Ticket Worth 6 Figures

EAST WINDSOR, CT — The new year started off right for a Vernon woman who invested $10 in a CT Lottery scratch ticket at an East Windsor convenience store, only to wind up winning one of 20 top prizes worth $100,000.

Julie Wilson bought her lucky $100,000 Cashword 11 ticket at the Cumberland Farms store on Route 5 in East Windsor. She claimed her winnings Jan. 6, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
