East Windsor Youth Center Forced to Scale Back Hours

The totally volunteer organization needs more help to sustain the operation.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Due to low attendance volume at the East Windsor Youth Center on Thursdays, coupled with difficulty finding regular volunteers for that night, officials of the organization have cut back the center's hours.

The new hours of operation will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m., with Friday night dinners donated by local restaurants each week at 5:30.

"Once the warmer weather is here, we may revisit opening again on Thursdays if we can find additional volunteers," director Wendy Parker said.
