Friends of the Library Association of Warehouse Point Need Volunteers for our ongoing book sale!
We are looking for volunteers, seniors, moms, dads, students who need community service hours or any individual looking to volunteer. The Warehouse Point Library has a basement full of books, DVD’s, CD’s, audio books, and puzzles. We need to sort the books by category. Additionally, we will have a designated area for a continual book sale. We will need volunteers willing to come in, at their convenience, to straighten the books out, bring new books up from the basement, and help organize.
The Friends of the Library offer passes to local museums and area attractions for free or reduced price admission. These include the Basketball Hall of Fame, Connecticut Science Center, The Connecticut Trolley Museum, the Lutz Museum, Wadsworth Museum, and more. See the librarian at the front desk for more information or visit our website at www.warehousepointlibrary.info and click on Museum Passes. We have created a pamphlet that you can view on line or print.

The Friends of the Library will use the money earned through the book sales to provide new programs and materials to the library that would not otherwise be available. Donations of good, used and new books, CD’s, DVD’s, puzzles, and audio books are accepted at the library whenever the library is open.
Additionally, if you wish to join the Friends of the Library, forms are available at the library or at the library website under the “Friends of the Library” tab. The Friends are going GREEN and trying to save money on postage. You may email us at friends.warehousepoint@gmail.com to join our e-mail distribution list to receive updates and newsletters. Come to the library for more information or contact Lynn Stanley, Vice President of the Friends call 860-623-7077.
