Father Arrested After 3-Year-old Found Walking Alone in Windsor Locks

A father was arrested after his 3-year-old son was found walking unattended on Main Street near Dexter Plaza on Saturday, according to Windsor Locks police.

Police responded to a call of the child walking around unattended and he was taken into care by Officer Devanney, who assured the child he was now safe and in good health, according to the department’s Facebook page.

Police said investigation resulted in the arrested of the father, Troy Forester, 33, who was charged with risk of injury to a minor. He was held on a $15,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 13.
