Generous Windsor Locks Girl Donates Birthday Money to Canine Unit
A new car heat alarm will help protect a police dog from the extreme summer temperatures.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Windsor Locks police dog will be protected from extreme heat with a new car heat alarm, made possible through the generosity of a young local girl.
Madison Evans took money she collected for her birthday and donated it to the Windsor Locks Police Department K-9 fund to purchase the alarm, which will protect K-9 Abby while serving the community.
Officer Chris Devanney and Abby met Madison at school recently, where the canine team interacted with both students and teachers.
