The town now has a pair of canine teams working in the police department.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Labrador drug detection dog named Abby has recently been added as the newest member of the Windsor Locks Police Department.

Abby has teamed with Officer Chris Devanney to form the department's second canine unit, joining Officer Joseph Malone and his German Shepherd partner, Rocko.

Paul Cherniack said. "Highly skilled drug detection dog teams can be a major asset in any successful drug interdiction program."
